Is there anything an air fryer can’t do? Not much, in my opinion! I’ve got a ton of air fryer recipes up on the blog — from baking and roasting to sautéing and broiling. But, did you know that you can also reheat food in your air fryer? Yes, it is possible, and it works like a charm.

It’s the best way to reheat foods like steak, fried chicken, pizza…the list could go on and on! It pains me to toss out leftovers, and I’m really big on preventing food waste. Reheating in the air fryer is a great solution, and I very rarely throw food away these days.

Reheating egg rolls in the air fryer involves only a few steps: all you need to do is preheat your air fryer, add the egg rolls to the basket, and heat. It really is that easy, and I’m going to teach you exactly how to reheat egg rolls in air fryer!

STEP ONE: Preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees F.

STEP TWO: Arrange the egg rolls in a single layer in the air fryer basket — you can reheat them in batches if necessary. It’s always better not to crowd the basket.

STEP THREE: Reheat the egg rolls for 1-3 minutes, depending on the size. Remove from the air fryer when they’re nice and crispy!

The best way to reheat egg rolls is in your air fryer! Trust me on this — fried foods like fries and egg rolls do really well in this handy kitchen tool. That said, it’s not the only way to reheat egg rolls! I’ve compiled this list that you can refer to when in doubt.

My personal favorite is reheating egg rolls in the air fryer! It works by circulating dry, hot air, which means you’ll get crispy results on the outside, and a perfectly heated center.

Using your oven will also give you crispy egg rolls, but it will take a lot more time. You’ll have to wait for the oven to preheat (which takes a lot longer than an air fryer), and you could end up with really hard, tough-to-chew results.

Ah, the classic reheating machine: the microwave. That said, it’s not a good idea to nuke foods that are meant to be crispy. Your microwave will essentially “steam” the egg rolls which will make them go soggy.

I don’t recommend using your skillet. You could end up burning the outside, only to find that the inside is still cold.

The votes are in…reheating egg rolls in the air fryer is the clear winner!

Again, it depends on the size of the egg rolls! If they are on the smaller side, it shouldn’t take more than 1-2 minutes to reheat egg rolls in air fryer. If they are bigger, it could take up to 4 minutes. Pretty fast either way, if you ask me!

The best option is reheating egg rolls in the air fryer! You’ll get crunchy and crispy egg rolls every time — no more soggy results.

You’ll also want to be careful not to overcrowd the air fryer basket. That hot and dry air I mentioned needs to be able to fully circulate around all sides of the food in order for it to reheat correctly.

Absolutely! Leftover egg rolls will keep for 3-4 days when properly stored in the fridge.

You can reheat egg rolls in air fryer safely if you use them within those few days without having to stress about foodborne illnesses.
